Top File Manager With Tabs For Mac

There is one thing which I do not like about Finder on my Mac, it is the fact that it does not come with Tabs. A File Manager without tabs feature is pointless to me.

I do most of my file browsing and file managing tasks by drag and drop. And considering that fact, a File Manager like Finder does not cater to my needs. In my pursuit to find a good alternative to Finder, I have compiled a list of some of the top tabbed file managers for Mac.

I have already compiled a list of some of the top Finder alternatives for Mac, and this post is in continuation to that.

Top File Manager With Tabs For Mac

Macintosh Explorer

As the name suggests, this File Browser is just meant for Mac. And to be precise, this Mac File Manager is here to cater to your needs, which Finder cannot. And one of them is Multiple Tabs. Its tabbed file browsing feature, Thumbnail and Hierarchical previews makes the whole file management task very simple. Its other features include, batch file info editor, previewing files while browsing, filters, advanced drag / drop features.

XtraFinder

XtraFinder

This is another app which brings tabs to the Mac Finder. In addition to multiple tabs, this particular apps brings you features like dual panel, dual window, global hotkeys, automatic adjustment of column widths, and much more. Its simple, plain and just what you need, nothing more than that.

I have found few more tabbed File Browsers for Mac like Total Finder, but are not free. If you are aware of any such free Mac Finder alternatives with tabs feature, please comment and share.
