Apple MacBook and MacBook Pro are undoubtedly two amazing innovations by Apple. As a user, you would have surely loved using this Apple masterpiece. And if you are having some overheating issues with it, then here is your help.
There are a couple of ways to fix / repair overheating problems / issues of your MacBook and MacBook Pro. One is using Spray Air Cleaner which can be performed on all the models of MacBook. Whereas the other uses a tool ( CoolBook ), which actually doesn’t work for fixing overheating issues with the i5 / i7 MacBook Pro.
METHOD 1 – USING SPRAY AIR CLEANER
STEP 1: Firstly, save all your work. And shutdown your MacBook.
STEP 2: Now, remove the magnetic power cable from your MacBook as you need to use Spray in order to fix the issues of your MacBook overheating.
STEP 3: Now, keep the spray nozzle at a distance of at least 10 inches from the air vents ( which are located near the hinge on the bottom of the MacBook ) of your MacBook.
STEP 4: Now, the pressurized air will expose out the dust particles which would let the heat sink process happen smoothly.
This method was more about cleaning the blockage of air vents in order to prevent the overheating problems of your MacBook.
METHOD 2 – COOLBOOK
CoolBook is a MacBook, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro computers. It lets you monitor the frequency, voltage and temperature of the CoreDuo / Core2Duo CPU. And using this tool, you can close all the applications which are not in use.
This reduces the load on your MacBook resulting in fixing of your MacBook overheating problems. You can use any of this methods if you are usingĀ CoreDuo / Core2Duo CPU versions of MacBook or MacBook Pro. But if you are using the Core i versions of MacBook, then you have to use method 1 in order to fix / repair the MacBook Overheating issues.
i like the entries here. it is updated very frequently and a lof of the photos/entries are very interesting.
thought of buying a macbook but doubtful after my experience with imac. I just got my imac in sept 2010. last nite i notice a burning smell when i turned it on…and i was not even using for the past 6, 7 hours!
The next morning i turned it on again. Everything seemed normal but after a while i can still smell slight burning ordor near the vent.
Quite disappointed with this experience as this is my first apple product and i thought i was buying top end quality!
