Protect Me! is a very simple and easy-to-use encryption software for anyone who requires a fast and simpler alternative to an expensive software that does the same job. It simply creates a secure executable container (.exe) file, in which one can add any type or number of files and folders, and finally password-protects it. Your files will be stored securely inside this container file and you can then delete the original file from the system.
To ensure maximum security of the data, Protect Me! uses SHA1 for password validation and AES for encryption. Once the data is encrypted, the file becomes self executable, which can either run or extract your files once you have typed in the right password. Essentially, this is a simple program to easily password protect any file or folder and get one single .exe file, which contains the encrypted data.
