are you connected to Internet while firing this command?? You have to be connected to Internet if you want this to work…And for your second question, let me know the phone you are using…
try this:

will definitely work!
There are a few others I find useful including chromium, terminator, htop and xchat
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser terminator htop xchat
