How to lock folders with out a software
The data in the hard disk is the important thing for any one who uses a computer. Sometimes ( for me most of the times!! ) we dont want any one to access our hard disks. I already discussed this in previous post which deals about the locking of drives in How to prevent access to Drives from My Computer.
If you want to lock your folders generally you will opt for a folder locking software but iinstead of using a software we can do this by simple code like this.

Now all you got to do is paste the above code in notepad.
Save it as batch file(with extension .bat).You can choose any name for it.
Now you see a batch file. Double click it to create a folder locker.
A new folder named Locker would be formed at the same location.
Now brings all the files you want to hide in the locker folder.
Now double click the batch file to lock the folder namely Locker.
If you want to unlock your files,double click the batch file again and you would be prompted for password.Enter the password and enjoy access to the folder.
Thats it!! No installations and downloadings required. So now you can be peaceful when others use your computer.
