Shorten your Tweets into SMS Lingo with Twonvert

Twitter’s only feature that is not so cool is its 140 character limit for the Tweets. But for the people who like to tweet without any word limits here is a site called Twonvert ,a free web service that can shorten up your tweet using SMS lingo thereby allowing you to pack more info into 140 words limit.

Twonvert: Turn Tweets to SMS Shorthand Language

You need not cram words into an update on twitter. It saves space as it uses SMS shorthand language which allows you to say more with less characters. The tweets are shortened into SMS Lingo so that the message remains the same but the spellings of the words will be changed.

For example, I would like to know, how are you doing? converted to I wld like 2 know, how r u doing? which takes less characters( 17.5% ) when compared to the original one .

Once you are finished typing, you can submit your message to twitter right from the website by entering your twitter username and password and clicking confirm & send.
