IlovePdf is a free web service that lets you merge and split your PDF files. So, you need not download any program for that. You can simply visit their site and start using their service.
Merge PDF Files:
To use this feature go to the section Merge PDF, click on the button and choose two or more files to your PC. The order of choice will be the order in which they will merge. You can select up to 10 PDF files no larger than 8 MB (each).
Split PDF Files:
Go to the section Split PDF. Click on the button and select a file from your PC. The file can not exceed 8Mb. Once selected the file to choose if you want to extract only a page or page range (range). You can choose up to 10 range.
