How To Run Internet Explorer On Mac

If you own a Mac, then you might have noticed that there are number of applications that won’t run on it because they only compatible  on Windows.

I am sure that this harsh fact sickens you. Even though you have spent so much on your laptop, no doubt its better than any other laptop in the market, but it still cannot let you use some of the basic Windows applications because they are not compatible on Mac OS X.

Long back I have shared an interesting post on Wine, which lets you run Windows apps on Mac. Well, WineBottler is a free Mac OSX app which lets you use any EXE file (Windows based installer) and get any Windows program installed on your Mac machine.

How To Run Internet Explorer On Mac

I was trying to access my company’s sponsored website on my Mac, and I found that it only opens on Internet Explorer. You can either use the above shared link to learn to use WineBottler or continue reading this to learn about installing IE on Mac.

All you need to do is install WineBottler,  and you will find Internet Explorer in its default application list. Just click on it and start using it.

And the other way is just double click on the .exe file of IE, and choose Run Directly and WineBottler would run Internet Explorer in the generic environment. Yes, its as simple as this.
