Disk Clean up is an amazing feature which lets you remove  unused programs is a great way to free up disk space. After using this registry tweak, you would find the “Disk cleanup” option the next time you right-click a particular drive. To do so:

  • Click “Start” and type “regedit” in the “Search” box.
  • Browse to the “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell” registry key.
  • Create a new key and name it “diskcleanup”.
  • Double-click the string and type “Disk Cleanup” in the “Value data” field.
  • Now create another key called “command”.
  • Double-click the string and type “cleanmgr.exe /d %1” in the “Value data” field.
  • Once done, restart your system for changes to take effect.
