Computer will be useful for many purposes but we can also do some funny things with it. These are done with the usual things which we use everyday. Try these and have fun and amaze your friends.
With Notepad :
- Open an empty notepad file
- Type “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
- Save it as whatever you want.
- Close it, and re-open it.
- You can’t see what you typed.
With Notepad again :
- Did u know the number of flight that hit the world trade centre? It was Q33N.
- Open the notepad type Q33N and then change the font size to 72.
- After that change the font to wingdings.
- You will be totally amazed !
With MS-Word :
- Open Microsoft Word.
- Type=rand (200, 99)
- Press ENTER and Then see the magic.
Reason: It’s a test feature. It’s been in Word for a long time, and I’ve known about it for a long time too (sorry). You can vary the numbers to get a different number of results. The first number is the amount of lines, and the second the amount of times the sentence is printed per line.
The sentence “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” is a sentence that contains all 26 letters of the roman alphabet. As such, it’s a convenient test phrase when testing things like fonts and markup.
With Folders:
- Right Click on your mouse and click New > Folder
- Name it as “con”( Without qoutes )
- You can see that it cannot be renamed.
Reason : Nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on theComputer which can be named as “CON”. At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn’t answer why this happened.
