How To Install New Fonts In Windows 7 / Vista / XP


This is a tutorial for all those who want to install new fonts in Windows 7 / Vista / XP. So, regardless the version of Windows Operating System, you can follow the same procedure to install new fonts in Windows OS.

Here is the step by step procedure to install new fonts in Windows XP:

Step 1: Click on START button and then click on RUN button.

Step 2: Here, type C:\Windows\Fonts and then click on OK button.

Step 3: Once this opens the directory where all the default fonts are saved. So simply copy and paste the new fonts which generally have tty, ttc and Fon as extensions.

Step 4: Once the copying is done, simply restart your computer.

That is it. Following these steps will help you installing new fonts on Windows XP.
