Here is a Firefox Add-on for Gmail that can make your Inbox a bit more useful. It is called Xoopit, a Firefox Plugin which acts as a File Manager for your Inbox by providing you with a cool way to browse , Find and share all images, videos, files and media links buried in your e-mails as attachments.
It is presently working with Gmail and Google Applications email accounts. Once you have installed Xoopit on your browser and entered you Gmail credentials, the application will automatically index and organize all attachment files in your Gmail inbox. For now, Photo browser Option will work for Yahoo mail accounts and it may develop features for different email accounts in the future.
Even images and videos from different sites like Flickr, Picassa, kodak, YouTube etc. that you were emailed earlier will also be fetched and nicely presented. Here is a list of its features..
