Wordpress Plugins Download

Wordpress is good for blogging. Plugin’s make it the best. These plugin’s which can be used as widget’s are making the Wordpress beautiful.I searched a lot in order to find right ones. In order to use the plugin’s we have to follow the following steps.
- The plugins can be downloaded from many sites but better to download from wordpress site itself at www./wordpress.org/extend/plugins
- It should be uploaded after unzipping it directly or through a FTP client. Make sure to upload the whole directory and not the files individually.
- After uploading it go to your Wordpress account and activate the plugin by clicking on ‘activate’ beside the plugin .
This is the basic procedure for installing a plug in in your wordpress blog. There are many sites where you can find plug-in’s.
I recommend this site www.wp-plugins.net. It has a huge database full of Wordpress plugins. The plugins are well organised in categories and you can find almost any plugin of your need for the wordpress here.

Well…. what actually is a plug-in? Why do we use it. Can’t html/javascripts be directly used as done in blogger?
Key difference between a plug-in and a widget?
Hope u come out with a well writenn article on all these.. or atleast with a link.
